   Hi, all. I'm about to publish a book-length manuscript using the CommentPress plugin, and as an academic book, it's got a lot of footnotes. I really want those footnotes to appear on hover as small, non-ugly popups. The easiest way to do this is to use the acronym tag, of course, but I'd ideally like something a little prettier. Most of the hover-text plugins I'm finding are for regularly used acronym (i.e., to create a hover reading "WordPress" for all uses of "WP"), and as each footnote is different, that won't work.    The easiest way to do this is to use the acronym tag

   Please don't! That's a real mis-use of markup. Use the title attribute with a span instead.
