Polldaddy survey - embed only as iframe - height issue (5 posts)

    Hi everyone!

I'm using a Pro edition of PollDaddy, and I want to embed my survey on my WP site on a page. That's easily done with the from PollDaddy provided iframe code.

BUT, the second page in my survey is higher than the first, and that leads us to the perpetual problem of iframes: the height.

How can I make the height of the iframe match the content of the iframe, when dealing with PollDaddy?

    No help from PollDaddy.

Cannot use the PollDaddy plugin, because it doesn't support PD surveys (!!!).

Cannot use lightbox or offsite modes.

I know you can do it with jQuery, but not when using cross-domain iframe content..

I'm pretty disappointed with PollDaddy for this vague support - PollDaddy is build by Automattic, the guys behind Worpdress... Why don't they support each other better? (wtf)...

    Can anyone help?

Hi Demitjev, did you contact Polldaddy support with this issue?

The plugin does support survey shortcodes. If the survey is not rendering properly then I can take a look at this for you.

    Hello Eoin Gallagher.

Sorry for this extremely late answer. As I wrote I cannot use the iFrame option. The shortcode just calls a iframe version of the poll, into my WP page. So in fact it is the exact same difference. :(

Have you tried the iframe method recently. A bug was fixed in the height detection routine last week that may fix the problem you're seeing.
