lots and lots of wp db errors on your site 😮 Can’t really see what’s behind them 😛

Do you still see the errors? I’ve been trying to teach myself php, and tweak a plugin. In order to test it, I upload, refresh and see what happens. If it doesn’t work, I delete the plugin and try again.
Is there a better way to test?

If your hosting provider isn’t too restrictive, you might want to run a “sandbox” version of your web site. In other words, a separate, non-public WordPress installation that you can test on.
It’ll be better if you try to keep test/development in a sandbox. The easiest way to do this is install WP into another directory (yoursite.com/test/ for example) and then you can play around on that.
Dammit Coldforged, you beat me to it:-) If I wasn’t also preoccupied with installing RoR…

I found an entry that will tell me how to create the sandbox, but I just want to make sure:
WP resides at the root level. I can install it again at mysite.com/sandbox and it won’t cause problems?
Absolutely. You’ll need either another database (easier to keep track of) or a different table prefix in wp-config.php.
Looks exceptionally good now. I think I’ll read your site more often Jaxia. Love the domain name too.. I thought it was rakeback for a second :)..
If you guys want rakeback.. Great site for it http://www.rakereturn.com..
Sorry, didn’t look at it, anything with “poker” in it is a “bad name or swear word” in my book. Being that most spam comments come from poker bullshit sites. The only sites “MAYBE” exceptable are from “poke her” sites…and that’s even a “BIG IF”..LOL!!

Even though there is a number of nice looking and descent poker blogs out there…just the “poker” word is my turnoff lol..no offense.
I had a look, its a fresh take. Rather than being the usual BS about poker and which sites to use, affiliates etc it is actually more about the game and his personal experiences. Quite interesting.
If you could get to comment on some bigger games, start doing write ups etc that have a unique style and make them interesting to read, both for a poker player and indeed a non-poker play like myself then you may even land yourself in good stead to become a live commentator on tv games in the future etc? Who knows 🙂 I know there are not that many commentators for poker at the moment. They normally just get a pro who can tell whats going on.
Either way, keep up the good work. I would perhaps look at your colour schemeing a little, not too keen on the background colour and link colour etc. perhaps this will help:

Either way, good luck
The asia minor scheme may work well

use the reds and beige etc to replace your current ones. Should keep a similar look but make it a bit sharper 🙂
