There is no dropdown for orderby, you need to enter it manually.
That said, the default behavior should be to order by most recently published. Is that not what is happening? If it isn’t please tell me what it is ordering by and what content type this Pod is so I can help you get the right order_by.
It looks like it is doing the oldest ones first. We imported this data from another site, don’t know if that could cause any issues with the order. Even when I look at the Pod entries I created in the admin, it is showing the oldest first.
What content type is this Pod? Are you running any custom code for Pods on your site that could be changing the default order?
It’s an advanced content type. I don’t think so, another advanced content type is pulling in in the right order. This one is sorted wrong in the admin too.
That’s very odd. This shouldn’t be necessary but orderby="t.date_created ASC"
should work, presuming that date_created is the name of the field with the date you want to orderby. That is the standard, but it could have been changed.
Nope, the first option gave me an error, then I tried variations, but didn’t pull it in recent to oldest. Looking around more, it does look like some of the other Pods have the data in the wrong order. Something had to happen with the data migration b/c it’s in the correct order on the first site. Thanks!
A second user reported this issue today. I created an issue in GitHub
