    Hi
Hope you can help. I've scoured this forum amongst others but I can't seem to find an answer...

Basically, when I check my feedburner XML source the iTunes image part is incorrect and will not display anything other than the generic 'powered by podpress' image.
    This is my feed: http://www.red313.co.uk/?feed=podcast
    Website: http://www.red313.co.uk
Here is the iTunes part of the XML copied and pasted from feedburner:

<itunes:subtitle>Weekly Techno mixes from the RED crew - Japhy, Jim Bull and Marley Cole</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>Weekly Techno mixes from the RED crew - Japhy, Jim Bull and Marley Cole</itunes:summary>
    <itunes:keywords>techno,reslive,the,drome,marley,cole,japhy,jim,bull,electro</itunes:keywords>
    <itunes:author>RED</itunes:author>
    <itunes:block>no</itunes:block>
    <itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit>
    <itunes:image href="http://www.red313.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/podpress/images/powered_by_podpress.jpg" />
    <atom10:link xmlns:atom10="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" rel="self" type="application/rss+xml" href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/RedPodcast" />

I have even renamed my logo image (the one I want displayed) as 'powered by podpress' but it still wont display correctly!
I have no idea where this logo is even coming from now as I have deleted the damn Mighty Mouse 'powered by podpress' logo and replaced with the logo I want.
Can anyone tell me whats going on? I've hopefully included enough info on this post. I don't understand why the XML won't change. I've pinged, resync'd - done everything I can think of!
    Many thanks in advance
    RED
ps - the incorrect logo is not the individual podcast image but the main image for the whole podcast. Please search iTunes for 'Red techno' and you'll see.
    Cheers

Forgot to mention - I have uploaded 300px x 300px and 144px x 144px versions of my logo to my server and set this up correctly in the podpress settings page.
    Another question though:
In the podpress settings, as you scroll down there are Feed Podcast, Feed Enhanced Podcast, Feed Torrent, Feed Premium and Feed...
Do I need to fill out the details (image url etc) on all of these sections?
Also - My logo used to show up in iTunes but now no longer. I think it might be when I reently updated to the latest wordpress version but I'm not certain.
    Thanks y'all.

    Hi RED,

Feedburner saves your Feed in a cache memory and updates the Feed in certain intervals automatically. Changes in your Podcast Feed will appear only after such an update.
I believe there is a way to initiate such an update manually. You can probably find this function somewhere on the Feedburner page (it is not a part of podPress). But if this pinging or re-syncing is not helping you may need to wait 12-24 hours.
Your original Podcast Feed looks fine, is valid and has the logo of your blog (and not the default podPress logo).

In the podpress settings, as you scroll down there are Feed Podcast, Feed Enhanced Podcast, Feed Torrent, Feed Premium and Feed...
Do I need to fill out the details (image url etc) on all of these sections?

Yes, because the Feed Podcast is your http://www.red313.co.uk/?feed=podcast (or http://www.red313.co.uk/feed/podcast). If you like to use the other Feeds then you should also configure them. (Or if you don't want them then you have the possibility to deactivate them.)
The settings in the upper section of the Feed/iTunes Settings page ("Settings for the default Feeds") are for the iTunes tags and other additional elements in the default Feeds of your blog e.g. http://www.red313.co.uk/feed or http://www.red313.co.uk/feed/atom.

    Regards,
    Tim

    Hi Tim
Thank you for your reply, very useful information.
Have pinged, re-sync'd, refreshed, updated and waited days - no change!
    It's driving me nuts!
I've posted something on the feedburner group discussion page but it doesn't look like many people use it.
I think we can definitely surmise that the problem lies with feedburner though eh? I've checked and triple checked everything in podpress and it's all spot on.
Any other ideas I could try?
    Thanks again
    RED

Yes, because the problem is limited to the Feedburner Feed. If you look at the XML source code of the http://www.red313.co.uk/?feed=podcast Feed, you will see the right logo (not the podPress logo).

    Your podPress settings are correct.

Not really. But maybe Feedbruner refreshes the cache memory when you publish a new episode.

    Tim

Ok thanks Tim - good suggestion, I'll try putting a new episode on and cross my fingers.

    Hi
    Me again, sorry!
Nope - tried that and it didn't work. According to these links, it's gotta be a iTunes problem right?

    Original feed: http://www.red313.co.uk/?feed=podcast
    Feed address: http://feeds.feedburner.com/RedPodcast
    iTunes search: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/red-podcast/id410823073

    Cheers

    RED,

the Feedburner Feed contains now the non-default logo <itunes:image href="http://www.red313.co.uk/red_logo_itunes_300.jpg" />. I think it is only a matter of time until iTunes updates the logo too. But it might take a couple of days.
    Regards,
    Tim
