[resolved] podpress 8.8.6 breaks file selection (7 posts)

I'm currently using podpress 8.8.5.3 and it works fine. However. when I upgraded to the latest release the file in the media selection drop down list is prepended with HTTP:// when the post is saved.

    eg select: mediafile.mp3

after the post is updated the file is listed as

The when you view the post and try to play the file it cannot be found. The rss valiidator also picks up the same url and complains.

wp is installed in a sub folder but the podcast files are stored in a separate directery under the home directory.

    Thank you for your report!

There is going to be a bug fix release today.

If you want to publish your episode before that then Please, use the "Specify URL" to enter the URL - although it is in the list of media files.

    Regards,
    Tim

Where do we get the 8.8.6.1? I'm having the same issue with 8.8.6.

    Thanks!

@all: I'm deeply sorry for the confusion! I have accidentally set the tag for the stable version back to 8.8.6. But in 10 minutes from now, it will be 8.8.6.1 again.

In general: You can find all available versions in the section "Other Versions": http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/podpress/download/

    Regards,
    Tim
