   Hi -- just installed Podcasting plugin 1.65 (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/podcasting/) on a self-hosted WP 2.6.2 site. All works as expected, except the embedded player just says 'buffering' for ever... I'm seeing this is with an 80Mb mp3 file, but i'm using a browser on the same network segment as the server -- loading the file directly in a browser, the whole file only take s a few seconds to load, so i don't think its simply a file-size issue, unless the player simply can't cope with a file this size?

   I've only tested on OS X, but this is 100% repeatable on all the browsers I've tried -- Safari, Firefox and Opera...

   I think you entered the file incorrectly into Podcasting. I'm seeing a 404 on http://www.filmnoirrecords.com/wimpy/mp3s/helennoirseptember2008mix.mp3 which is what the player points to.

   er are you sure? i'm seeing (view-source) it being (correctly) passed

   (ie different capitalisation) which is correct and which is accessible...? where are you seeing the lowercase version?

   I'm seeing the lowercase version in what's actually being fed to the player. What do you have between your [podcast] tags? Perhaps my code is making the case lower.

   Did you solve this? If so, how? This problem (endless buffering) is driving me batty!

   I am experiencing similar problems on another site. When we tested the latest version of this plugin (2.0b20) with a small 465 K MP3 file, the player worked as advertised. Then, when we attempted a larger MP3 file of 7,445 K, the flash player would go into the "endless buffering" described above.

   While this particular WordPress (2.7) installation is running on Apache for Windows, I have been able to duplicate the endless buffer issue on a Linux box running Apache 2.2.9.

   Please disregard the last post; it was an issue with the bitrate.
