   Using the WordPress Appearances/Header page, I uploaded a new header image. It appears to upload fine and even shows it perfectly displayed on the "Crop" page:

   Ok so far.
   I click the "Crop and Publish" button and the image then appears with a black background or weird negative image:

   If I go to the site the weird image also appears:
   https://jmjsites.info/eve-lyn/songs/images/upload3.jpg

   I have tried the following plugins with no relief:
   HITS- IE6 PNGFix
   WP Pngfix

   Please help, this is the first time I have seen this happen in many many years of using WordPress.

   Update: I reinstalled the latest WP version to see if that helped.
   It didn't.

   I uploaded the image into the Media Library and it uploaded fine.

   I guess I will fix it in the coding, it's pretty crappy that something that simple doesn't work though...
