I'm trying to use this plugin as a classifieds system for members of my site, but I do not want them to actually UPLOAD photos. I'd rather have them just use a remote image host (Photobucket/Imageshack) and paste their photo URLs into the description textarea, and have WordPress display the images themselves on the actual post page. It did it the first few test posts I made, but I've since changed some of the plugin settings and now it won't even display the remote image URLs as links, it just displays them as plain text.
I have the plugin set to the "no fee" option and the "allow image" set to no so that the image upload form doesn't come into play.
