[plugin:wp super cache] says path is wrong but it isn't

    when I check advanced-cache.php I see this message

    WP Super Cache is installed but broken. The path to wp-cache-phase1.php in wp-content/advanced-cache.php must be fixed!

    but the correct path is on there

    I’m using the most recent version just downloaded it today

    has anybody come across this issue recently?
