Plugins Searching Index Date Errors @ WordPress.org

Hello,

I’ve noticed added date and last_updated errors @ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/browse/ …

As at 2011-10-19 the page
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/browse/updated/page/1113/
shows errors for the dates for the plugins: List.ly, Aye Aye Frame, PHP to Page, Quick Contact Box & Page Order Randomizer.

Each of these shows last_updated as 2011-10-19 except Page Order Randomizer which shows last_updated as 2011-9-30. However in this recently updated list they are sorted as being older than plugins that have not been updated since 2004.

When one checks the api-derived last_updated values e.g. from: http://api.wordpress.org/plugins/info/1.0/listly.xml
http://api.wordpress.org/plugins/info/1.0/aye-aye-frame.xml
http://api.wordpress.org/plugins/info/1.0/php-to-page.xml
http://api.wordpress.org/plugins/info/1.0/am-quick-contact-box.xml

they all show a last_updated value of “1969-12-31”.

More strangely,
http://api.wordpress.org/plugins/info/1.0/free-tell-a-friend.xml
gives an added date of 2009-08-10 and a last updated date of 1969-12-31 which may one second away from the list.ly added date of 1970-01-01.

It seems that something is broken.

But how is it that even though the api and the http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/browse/ sorting uses the wrong dates, that the last_updated date presented on the plugin listing and page show what is probably the correct date?

Should this be filed as a bug in the WordPress.org website?
