   i just upgrated from 1.5 to 2.0. after following the instructions and even running the upgrade, it seems to have worked well sans the plugins.

   the only plugin that sucessfully activated was cat2email. but now i can't even turn that one off. the message @ the top says that it has been deactivated, but it is still hightlighted green as it would in 1.5.

   so it seems like that there is something going on in the database but still looking where.

   any help is greatly appreciated.

   Try using phpMyAdmin on the wp-options table and change the record that has the option_name of activate_plugins and change the option_value to:

   a:0:{}

   That deactivates all plugins. Log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, delete the wp-content/cache folder then see if it lists all your Plugins. Can you then activate any plugins?

   i followed what you said, however and now can't start up anything. =(
