I’m not sure if this is something that I have done, or something that I’m not doing correctly. Way back when I decided to install wordpress, i created it under a folder called ‘wordpress’, but after having it up for a few days, i decided to move it to under the name ‘blog’ on my site. With in the folder is where my theme has been customized fro my blog, and all my active pages reside in the folder ‘blog’. Im not sure if this is where my site is starting to get all screwed up and i cant actually use any of my plugins that I am installing. Where ever i put these plugins, ‘blog’ or ‘wordpress’ i cant see anything within the blog. When they are in the ‘wordpress’ folder and uploaded to my server, i can see them in my plugins folder and activate them there, but when i go to use them, nothing happens……….Yes this sounds confusing, yes, i am sick of none of my plugins not showing up…yes i would someone out there to help me out somewhat! lol. if anybody knows anything of why im not getting anything to show up with my plugins, or want to help me out in this mess, then feel free to drop me a line…

  • When you move your blog, you have some things that need to be reset. In particular, the two URI values at the Options -> General page.

What I would do, if I were you is thusly:

    Move it back to /wordpress.
Log in as admin, go to options general, change the addresses there to http://yourdomain.com/blog and Save.
    (Don’t do ANYTHING else)
    Move the files to /blog

Forget you ever had a /wordpress.
