• I am on vacation and checking my blog on a netbook. I wanted to check out my stats with my plugins. When I went to Dashboard none of my plugins were listed, but the visible ones still are showing in the blog: Nextgen Gallery and Slideshow… something. My other plugins, including Akismet and my stats one (whose name now escapes me) are showing.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Stilson

  • Do you have javascript disabled on your netbook?

Thanks for responding, esmi. Java is enabled. Although… I ran System Mechanic a few days ago and let it do its thing automatically. I use Firefox and just checked to make sure Java is enabled.

    Java is enabled

Not Java – JavaScript. They’re two entirely different things.

Sorry for my imprecision, esmi. Both Java and JavaScript are enabled, both on Firefox and IE. I appreciate your sticking with me here.

Still need some help! I got home and went to my main computer to see if the problem was localized to my netbook.

It isn’t. All my Dashboard widgets are not showing up in Dashboard. The effects are there: nextGen galleries, slideshow. The controls for them in Dashboard are missing.

As noted above, Java and Javascript are enabled. Sure could use some suggestions!
