   Yesterday I installed a new plugin nad everything was fine. Today it shows I need to update 2 plugins, but when I click the Plugins tab, all I get is:

   Manage Plugins

   Plugins extend and expand the functionality of WordPress. Once a plugin is installed, you may activate it or deactivate it here.

   The plugin listing is no longer showing up. I'm not web ignorant and even tried to reinstall the plugins.php file and even changed the permissions but to no avail. Any advice?

   I am having same problem with my wordpress installation. One of the solutions to get the plugins showing again on manage plugins page is this.

   You can try this pgwhalen to get the list back
