After upgrading the plugins menu is missing from the admin panel. Apart from that wordpress seems to be working fine.

Also missing are the menus for Settings, Users and Appearance.

Have tried installing again but produces same result.

Any ideas what this could be?

    Thank you.

  • Check the level of permissions for the login details you are using. Sounds like they are not Admin level. Go to Users > ..

    Thank you Pierrick!

Yes, that was the issue. We have updated the permissions and it is all working again.
    Brillant.

I have full admin permission, and have updated to 3.3.1 (manual update so I didn’t lose my info) and my appearance & plug-in panels are missing. Originally someone else designed my site with a very customized theme, and as recently as 2 months ago appearance menu/themes/plug-ins were accessible and working. Please help! I need to edit my site and don’t want to start from scratch.
