    I am upgrading to 2.2.
I have ftp my site as a backup to my local computer. Also backed up my database.

When I go to Plugins on my site, to deactivate them, all I get is a blank page.

I have quite a few plugins installed, but I have no access to them.

    Any ideas please?

    Graham

  • So if you look in wp-content/plugins do you see any files.

If you do, check permisssions on wp-content, wp-content/plugins folder. They should be 755 (if not 777).

    Resource Changing_File_Permissions

If permissions are correct, you could be having a plugin compatibility problem. There is an issue where you may start getting blank login pages and such. It didn’t pop up with me until about 3 hours after my initial login. If that happens, try renaming the plugin folder to something else temporarily.

Al the folders have the correct permission of 755 and i can see all content. The php files are set to 644.

I haven’t changed anything on the plugins but I will try renaming the folder and see if that cures the problem

re-named plugin folder, opened WP and then changed name back to plugins.

After that the plugins appeared ok on my admin panel.

    Great,

    Graham
