Yes, I did. But before this new update the plugins were still not working. When I first got wordpress.org the plugins worked perfectly. All of sudden they stopped.
If they were working before and are not working now – something changed.

I am not speaking of a particular plugin. Unfortunately, in my case, any plugin I try to install fails to do its part. I’ve had this problem for 3 months. I have no idea how to fix this.

What does this mean in English: “Reloading your data from your backup source.”
I found a site where it says if it’s beyond repair I should do that, but I don’t know what that means or even where to get that.

I know and it doesn’t matter. Something changed in your installation 3 months ago.

It means you need to restore a previous database backup. In your case, it would need to be a backup from 3 months ago.

That blows.

Crap. I never “backup” because I don’t know how LOL. So that would be impossible. How would I do that for future reference?
See Backing_Up_Your_Database – which includes a link to a list of backup plugins. Personally, I use DB Cron Backup: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/dbc-backup/

Awesome, thanks.
As far my plugins problem, in other words, I’m pretty much screwed… >_<
Could be.:-(
Have you tried repairing your database? Or resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin and then activating the plugins one at a time?
