[resolved] [Pluging: mTouch Quiz] Changing display of correct and wrong (7 posts)

    Doing quizzes was one of the requirements of a new web site I'm building and this plugin really fills this need. In fact, it's the reason i chose to use wordpress.

    The one thing that I've been asked to change however is the fact that the "Correct" or "Wrong" image is shown when the quiz explanation is displayed.

    Ideally, I'd like to remove those from showing at all. If that's not possible, changing the wording might be acceptable. The idea is that the quiz is meant as a teaching tool and saying "Wrong" is too harsh.

    I'm a novice with WordPress but an experienced computer user so editing files etc. isn't a problem. I've looked at the plugin files, but I don't know what i'm looking for or where to start. I'm using the twentyeleven style if that matters.

    Thanks.

    I'd you want to change the words you can edit the show_quiz.php file. Just do a "find" for Wrong and you will find it. Of course with every new update you will need to do this again.

    Good luck with your site.

    Thanks for the pointer to the show_quiz.php file. I was able to edit the Correct/Wrong text in there.

    I also dug further into the style.min.css file and found that if I added "display:none;" to the .mtq_stamp class, I could make the wording disappear completely.

    And yes, I realize that both of these 2 edits aren't ideal as they must be redone after any updates. But, this works for what my site needs, and i'll just document this ;)

    if you add that line of CSS to your theme's style.css file, it won't need to be edited on future updates. Just put the following in your theme:

    .mtq_stamp { display:none !important;}

    Glad you got it to work out.

    In the Quiz Options for each Quiz change the Final Screen. It's in middle of screen of Quiz Options for EACH quiz.
