[Plugin: Youtube with Style] Blank Site when v8 is Enabled

    Recently saw that there was an update for YouTube with Style from v7 to v8. I upgraded the plugin and activated it only to find a completely blank site with literally no code being thrown at the browser from the web server.

    It did not result in a 500 error either, literally just resulted in… Nothing. Disabling the plugin solves the issue and I rolled back to v7.

    I do have WP-Minify and WP-Supercache installed.

    i will have a look into this, im currently running the plugin on 3.0.4 and 3.1 without any issues, i will have to install wp-minify and wp-supercache to debug it.

    what version of wordpress are you running and are you running a caching plugin as well?

    what other plugins do you have running.

    also what ver of php.

    I am running Version 3.0.4
    And now i upgraded your plugin again 8.2 and still having same problem.

    i am trying to duplicate this blank page issue, but everything seems up to par on my end.

    do you have curl and simplexml extensions in your php5?

    also what other plugins do you have activated.

    you might wanna put on WP_DEBUG in your config file so i can see exactly whats the issue.

    Is it possible that i can get back the old one plugin. Coz old plugin was working fine. So can you please give me the old one.

    Chris, mine is also broke. When I activated the plugin, my whole WP 3.0.4 crashed with the following error:

    Catchable fatal error: Object of class SubPage could not be converted to string in /home/overword/public_html/wp-includes/classes.php on line 277

    Currently, all video content on my site is down hard. Can you roll back to the previous version?

    Actually, I had a copy of v7, so I’ve rolled back manually. Please do keep us posted on this.

    I clear out that directory frequently so get it while it’s still hot 🙂

    Since your plugin is on one of my production sites, I don’t want to mess with it too much, but I’ll get you as much info as I can about the hosting environment as soon as I get the chance.

    i just went through some bug fixing, and made another update,if you have another wordpress site somehting not live just a test site, could you install it, give it about 5-10mins for the codex to update.

    it should fix those pesky issues people were dealing with.

    Yep, first test is good. 3.0.4 with YTWS 8.5

    Scratch that. I just ran it on my production site, and it crashed again. I didn’t get the error message, since I had to do an immediate roll back.

    Version 8.6 does not work while NextGen Gallery is enabled.
    Moved back to version 7, working now.
