It seems to have something to do with the ‘fs=1’ that gets inserted into the url. When you remove this then it shows perfectly okay??

    Anybody else having this issue?

I’ve just released a new version which fixes lots of bugs, including this one. An extra option for Shadowbox is added, for those having problems with Thickbox.

Great, just tested the new release and it works perfectly.

I have just installed and activated this plug-in (version 1.0) and am having this same issue with the grey default thumbnail image being shown for all videos… as well as the alignment being pushed over to the right.

I’ve tried deactivating various plug-ins but still doesnt work right. I’m not running WordPress 2.9.2 (and don’t want to update it unless I absolutely have to as it will overwrite some of my coding changes).

Any ideas on how to fix this as I’d love to continue using this plug-in, its so simple!

    Thanks!

taniab: I need some more info from you:

Do you use it with or without titles?

Is oEmbed actived on your blog (under Settings > Media, [ ] «Attempt to automatically embed all plain text URLs»)?

Hi, thanks for the quick reply.

I am using titles (tried removing them but still get same issues).
Auto Embed is ticked in: Settings > Media (have tried it unticked).

Here is the code I am using in my post:
    [youtubegallery]
    Access Consciousness|http://www.youtube.com/v/8dbbzvF_KFw?version=3
    Dr Dain Heer|http://www.youtube.com/v/R0wR8yd-0ZE?version=3
    Steve Comer|http://www.youtube.com/v/BR9uVd5lcHA?version=3
    [/youtubegallery]

    And I’m using Shadowbox.

I had the same problem with video thumbnails, but I found that by adding a “|” after the link as well as between the link and the title, my problem was fixed.

This issue has resurfaced for me. Not sure why but it has. Any ideas? Except this time nothing works! I get the default video player icon and when I click on that it takes me to a broken page. Here’s an example of one of the video links when I click on the video thumbnail. I have it set up perfectly okay in WP.

That doesn’t look right to me. Obviously not right because it’s not working.

    Anyone?

I had the same problem with my site, then I realized that youtube is now producing their links in a format different than YouTube Simple Gallery is designed for.

    Reference: http://testofmanhood.com/video-gallery

I grabbed the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0mZJcVfmaM but I just got a grayed out link.

I then removed the “watch?” and changed the “=” after the v into a “/” to create: http://www.youtube.com/v/o0mZJcVfmaM

    The plugin then worked properly.

I’ve got the same problem – icon just shows up as a grey Youtube video camera and when I click on it the Shadowbox opens up with nothing in it.

Tried all the things above but they don’t help. Any suggestions?

You still have this problem? Are you running WP 3.1 and version 1.4 of the plugin?

Yup, still got it. Running 3.1 and version 1.4. Grateful for any help!

    Thanks

I need to see the page and the code that is output. Could you supply me with a link? Either here or email it to post [a] wpwizard [dot] net
