   Installation says I need both installed to work.

   When they are both activated, they BOTH show below my post (that make sense, I guess)
   When only YARP is activated, YARP is showing (that make sense)
   When only Related Posts Slider is activated, NONE are showing.

   The problem is, I only want to see the Related Posts Slider (the carrousel). How?

   You probably want to go to the "Related Posts (YARPP)" settings page and turn off "automatically display related posts" in the "Display Options (web)" section.
