Hi,

I installed and created a template for YARPP and worked it into a shortcode to place on pages.

I enabled Tags & Categories for my pages and if I use the following basic Related Post shortcode:

[ Code moderated. For more than 10 lines of code please pastebin.com instead. ]

the related posts show up as links reading from the page tags as I would like them to.

However the YARPP code pulls from post tags only. It also displays the same page thumbnail as the current page.

Is there a work around?

I can’t see the code you had in mind, but my guess is that the way that shortcodes are executed, which happens while displaying the main content, is the culprit here, for the thumbnails, for example. I don’t think there’s a good way to get around this (or not a clean way).

I’m not sure what you mean by “YARPP pulls from post tags only.” YARPP considers the various criteria that you specify in YARPP options.
