If you have “cross-relate” turned on, I think it should be showing in pages as well…
no it doesn’t!
I’ve checked “cross-relate” but it doesn’t help
I need to place it in single page sidebar
All other widget woks but YARP doesn’t display either the title or any other manifestation of itself, both with or without his own template.
using WP 3.0.4 and YARP 3.1.9
any idea?
thx
ps: in single post it works both at post’s bottom and in sidebar as widget
Ah, I figured it out. I believe this is fixed in the latest beta. Please try it out:
http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/yet-another-related-posts-plugin.3.2.1b1.zip
thx mitcho, gonna check it out
uh-u. I’ve installed YARP beta 3.2.1 b1, still didn’t check if it fix my problem, anyway I’ve just got an unpleasant error (yarp related) on updating a wp built in menu:
on page wp-admin/nav-menus.php
I got
Warning: Missing argument 2 for yarpp_status_transition() in /xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/wp-content/plugins/yet-another-related-posts-plugin/magic.php on line 355
Warning: Missing argument 3 for yarpp_status_transition() in /xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/wp-content/plugins/yet-another-related-posts-plugin/magic.php on line 355
both lines are repeated several times.
ideas?
bye
@atomik, my bad: please change yarpp.php line 56 to be:
add_action('transition_post_status','yarpp_status_transition', 10, 3);
Great. It’ll be included in the next beta.

Could you make this feature optional please? I don’t want the related posts widget to show up on pages.
Todd, widgets showing up everywhere where they’re available is actually the “correct” WordPress way… there are other plugins like Widget Context (my favorite) which helps you control exactly where widgets are visible.

Too bad to hear that. Thanks for the tip, so I’ll have to use one of those plugins.
