Hi,
YARPP was working fine until I upgraded to 3.x. Previously it would find and display related posts and pages (match threshold = 5). However after upgrading to 3.x, Pages no longer show up. Even after setting up match threshold to 0 or 0.1, I don't see any pages listed. In fact, even one of my blog posts still refuses to show up at match thresholds that are set to 0-0.1.
I have tried playing around with a bunch of options, enabled/disabled category/tag/title matching etc, but with no luck. I even uninstalled/deleted and reinstalled it afresh but it is still giving me trouble.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Update : Switching back to 2.1.6 resolved the issue for me. Posts and pages are all showing up again. Any thoughts?

Same with me. I love this plugin, and love the new custom templates – I included one in my recent WP theme – but I'm not satisfied with the fact that it doesn't work as good as before.
Now I've updated the cache (last options from the YARPP options screen) and I seem to have my old related posts back.
Still, when I add a new post, related posts are not displayed... I have to recreate the cache again, and it takes some 5-6 minutes every time.
Could we have this bug fixed, a scheduled cache refresh or something like that?

Well for me, even rebuilding the cache did nothing :(. I don't know if there is some conflict with WP-Super Cache, but it works fine with 2.1.6. Like you, I love this plugin and I'd like to stay up to date with it, but 2.1.6 just works much better for me :(
@cuorhome - when you save a post it should be computing the related posts for that new post... you're saying that doesn't happen?
@not2bug - there shouldn't be a conflict with wp-super cache, but if you're using it, sometimes the related posts may not update immediately as the HTML display of them are cached.

Thanks Mitcho for the timely reply! No, it doesn't compute the related posts, not until I rebuild the cache at least.
See this post I wrote this morning, for example: http://www.cuorhome.net/heart-images/inspiration/window-in-my-bedroom/
There are plenty with the same tags, but still it doesn't show any.
I must admit that my blog is tag-heavy – 676 Posts & 1,224 Tags now. Please let me know if this may be an issue...

Oh well – now the related posts appeared! Sure Mitcho fixed something from his own PC! ;-)
Is there some kind of scheduled refresh – i.e. should I wait some time for related posts to be shown? Apparently I am not using any plugins that may conflict with YARPP...

I don't think it is WP-SuperCache because 2.1.6 works great even with it. Are there any plugins that are documented to conflict with YARPP?
@cuorhome - Glad it worked out! Sometimes that caching can be mysterious. :)
@not2bug - No, not particularly... (except a certain issue with DISQUS which is in the FAQ). What plugins do you have installed?
