• I just upgraded and now get related post links displayed in my landing pages which wasn’t happening before.

And I can’t see anyway to exclude page ids or categories.

    Please advise.

I tried unselecting automatic inclusion which took off the related post links, but on adding related_posts() to openhooks (used in thesis theme) under the blog post it just renders the text “related_posts()” on the page rather than displaying related posts.

    thanks.

  • YARPP’s automatic display only runs on individual page and post displays. This logic has not changed in recent YARPP versions, so perhaps there has been a change in Thesis? I suggest you ask them as they do have support.

    Hi Mitcho,

Thesis hasn’t been updated for many months so no change there. Possibly other plugin conflict, and of course WordPress did update to 3.3.1 just very recently.

The YARPP descriptions says I can exclude page ids and categories. How do I do that?

    thanks

You can exclude results by taxonomies such as tags and categories, but not page IDs (does my readme say that? if so, please let me know so I can correct it). From “screen options” in the top right of the YARPP settings screen, you can show the “the pool” options and you can make those choices there.
