[Plugin: Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Database errors since moving servers (5 posts)

    Hi

Thanks firstly for putting together one of the best plugins. Since moving servers I've been getting database errors on the sites on my server:

Do you have any ideas how I can fix? Or is there a way I can delete the old databases so that the plugin can rebuild the relevant tables and 'start again'?

    thanks

  2. @DSHEPHERD - I'm not seeing any errors...

If you'd like to "start again", try dropping the yarpp_content and yarpp_title indexes on your wp_posts table and then going to the YARPP settings page in your WP settings, which will rebuild those indexes.

Otherwise, the latest version of YARPP has a debug mode (add ?yarpp_debug=1 to your URL with any caching plugins off) which will print the SQL query that's being run in a HTML comment. You can try running that query directly in your database to see what error it gets (if any). If that's the problem, please print the SQL query here with the error message, or email me with it.

    Thanks for the report!

  4. @DSHEPHERD - The SQL query is right there, about halfway down the source. The problem here is that the keywords aren't being constructed correctly... are you by chance running WP 2.7b2? I've received a report which told me that this was happening to them...

I'll try to build a fix to this and post the link to the new debug version for you. If you email me I'll be able to send you the code directly.

  5. @DSHEPHERD - thank you so much for your cooperation!

For others following this thread, please try this development version which has the fix. It will be rolled into the upcoming 2.1.4 release.
