  • Hi Julie, thanks for your support.

Please be aware that the plugin might have some problems keeping up with updating all your options if you have many blogs (more than 40 maybe), or if you select too many options to replicate.

I am working on that issue with one of my client that needs to replicate 3 options on 100 blogs: the function stalls before the replication is complete for all blogs.

The “debug” checkbox can be useful for finding out what happens in such a case.

If you liked the plugin, *please* rate it, and prefer to discuss it on the plugin’s official page / comment board, here: http://www.yann.com/en/wp-plugins/yd-wpmu-sitewide-options

    Thanks again.

If you liked my WPMU plugin, please also check-out this one: it’s getting quite popular also 😉

Thank you sooo much for such a great plugin ! Five Stars definitely.

can I add a related question here?
I was wondering how this works, I mean lets say I replicate my akismet settings across all blogs, so that one API key works for all of them (I know you are not allowed) but will each blog admin still see the plugin options? If so he can change the settings there…

Is there an option to hide certain options/settings if they get propagated across all blogs to prevent users from changing them?

oh and btw can I use the plugin to copy settings from any blog I chose or does it have ot run on the main blog? I’d love to create a new clean blog as a template blog without messing with the main blog…

Please post all your questions on the official plugin community support page:

    http://www.yann.com/en/wp-plugins/yd-wpmu-sitewide-options

I have no time to follow the WordPress forums in addition to the official plugin page.

Please copy/paste your questions there to get an answer.

    Thanks.

Version 4.0.0 is out for beta testing. Try it out here:

    http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/yd-wpmu-sitewide-options.4.0.0.zip

It does support replication of some plugins’ specific database tables in addition to replicating standard WP Options. It also has many new settings including excluding specific blogs from replication.
