• Hey All,
Recently our group went through a redesign of our website, and along with that we added WPtouch to the mix. However while it worked fine for about a month of use now we are getting, not errors on the site, but a miscommunication of sorts.

WP touch thinks regular web browsing computers are mobile phones, as seen in the link to this picture here A week before this it took over the entire site and the home page looked like the mobile one on every browser I tried.

I really like WP touch it fills an important role in our mobile market but to avoid user issues on our site I’ve had to disable it, has anyone had this problem before, furthermore has anyone found a solution to this issue?

    thanks in advance,
    GLO

It sounds like you have a cache plugin installed. If you do, you’ll need to add all of WPtouch’s user agents (a listing if them are found in the settings for WPtouch) to the rejected user agent list in your cache plugin, and empty the cache to then have the correct functionality (your desktop theme will be cached, while mobile visitors will see the un-cached mobile version with WPtouch).

That did it, seems to be working fine now, thanks
