For some reason parts of the editor are not working. I cannot click the upload button for a custom icon. Also the color picker is not loading. I have to manually enter the code.I have the ajax and color picker files in the js folder. Also the header in the top left corner has this blue animation like its trying to load something. I have ceared my cache and used FF and IE.

  • It sounds as if there may be a conflict happening with another of your installed plugins (sometimes they insert code into the WordPress admin area that they shouldn’t). To test, temporarily deactivate all other plugins, clear your cache, then test your WPtouch admin panel.

If the issue persists, you may want to restore all settings.

I looked at my other plugin and it was loading http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.1/jquery.min.js which caused the issue.

I removed that and now its working. Does WPtouch load a jquery URL like this?

Still trying to figure it out. I tried later version of the jquery.min.js loaded from googleapis and it still has a conflict. The issue is it causes the buttons on the html side of the entry form using another plug in. The buttons I think are called the “kitchen sink” to edit text. The buttons appear and they are long.

    Hi,

What is the plugin that is loading the Google hosted jquery library? We’ll do some testing with it locally. Thanks.

Its not a publicly available plugin.

It was a CSS issue on another plug in not a WPTouch problem. If I removed that jquery link, WPTouch will work but the editor in the other plug in didn’t look correct. The quick tags were not displaying correctly. I found it was an issue with the CSS file being loaded for the plug in. I took each line out until the editor window looked correct.

Thanks for your follow-up. Glad to know you got thing sorted out.
