WP StoreCart is seemingly easy to install, but getting past that is where the hard work starts. Your store will not look good at all and there are some issues with having widgets update correctly. A shop product has to be 100 percent correct and stable. There is seemingly no AJAX.
I have installed standalone shopping applications that work better than most WP shop plugins. Easier all around to work. I am not at all just about WP StoreCart this is the situation with 90% plus of the WP shop plugins. You can spend days on these shop plugins and get no where.
In Summary, WP StoreCart stands with most of the WP shop plugins, in that they are not easy to setup. Just read the forums. Are these statements unfair to these developers, I possibly not all. They could achieve much better user satisfaction and less help tickets, if they were to spend time in creating video tutorials with audio. If they want to sell their scripts, they need to spend time creating video tutorials that many of us can access their product. WordPress is no longer for the coder, so make things friendlier. I would spend money on a plugin that leads you through step-by-step than one which has a lame manual and relys upon you posting or creating help tickets.
