version 0.1.1 of the original plugin still works for me so what did you change or improve?

@Ovidiu, I fixed an issue where it would add slashes in some cases when you edited the message, and I included a css file to give it more of a professional looking maintenance message. You can check out the screenshot.
ah, thanks for the info. was just wondering if I needed to change t your version.
@Ovidiu, not necessary especially if you haven't experienced the slashes issue.
@JoshuaParker Does this plug-in allow an admin or a pre-defined IP to test out the site (front-end), while the maintenance screen is shown to other users? I need to update a high profile multisite with 50 blogs from WPMU 1.2.4 til WP3.2.1, and I need to test it good before letting the updated version live.
@Mikkel, yes. You can only login via wp-login.php, which will allow you to view the site and customize before letting it go live.
@JoshuaParker ok, so if I'm logged in to the back-end (via wp-login.php), and then go to the front end, I will be able to see the actual site (and not the maintenance screen)?
@Mikkel, that is correct.
