[resolved] [Plugin: wpmathpub] How to display math symbols that are also HTML entities (2 posts)

A problem was reported to me that others may have bumped into also...

How can I display characters like "<" and ">" in my math equation?

    Example:
    [pmath]A > B[/pmath]

The user found that her math equation would end up with "& g t ;" instead of ">".

The problem was solved when the user entered her math equation using her WordPress html code editor instead of her visual editor.

A new candidate version of wpmathpub is under review at this time to replace version 1.0.4.

This new version has a fix for html entities so they are correctly converted back to plain text. In this way, a visual editor will correctly display math equations with html entities like "& gt;".

This new version now supports math equations in blog comments, not just blog posts themselves. You can see the new version in action and get the code changes to affect these changes before the new version is released from here:
