[Plugin: wpLike2Get] G Counter Number in wplike2 Get Not the Same As My G Page I Set in Settings

In the wpLike2Get Plugin Settings, in the Google Plus section specifically, I set the URL (“The URL that is sent. Leave blank to get dynamic URL”) to the URL of my Google Plus page. I only have 3 “pluses” on that page so far which I got before I installed wpLike2Get, but when the button appeared on my website the counter was at 0 which I don’t understand. Shouldn’t it say 3?
