   Hi

   I know this problem is discussed in various forum posts. But either I do not manage to get the posted solutions to work or I do not understand what the explanations mean.

   My problem is that the links created in WP to gallery2 images/albums do not work. I believe the problem is that the ".htaccess is not writable", at least thats what the WPG2 config in WP tells me. I tried to create a file .htaccess with the given text in the WP folder, but then I get permission denied for everything in the folder.

   Could anyone give me a step-by-step solution for this problem?
