• Basics: By default, WPeMatico sets the date and time of the posts to that of the moment they’re created. By using this option, however, you can alter that behavior.

    Use feed date: Enabled
How it works: To avoid incoherent dates due to lousy setup feeds, WPeMatico will use the feed date only if these conditions are met:
The feed item date is not too far in the past (specifically, as much time as the campaign frequency).
The fetched feed item date is not in the future.

The problem is that I’m trying to import a feed with old post dates, so how can I make it keep the original feed item dates? It seems like it should be a simple hack on the code. WPeMatico is pretty much an updated WP-O-Matic (since WP-O-Matic is no longer supported). I found below fix I’m looking for, but it’s for the outdated WP-O-Matic and not WPeMatico.

Any help to solve this problem would be much appreciated.
