I can't seem to get the posts from my blog to go to my business page. I can get them to show up on my personal page. Am I doing something wrong or is that not a feature?
    Thanks Jeff

You can post to business pages - you have to grant permissions for it.

What does your "check permissions" page say inside WordPress -> Settings -> WPbook?

    Hi John,

I am using the wpbook on my wordpress website mainly to display my blog posts with a business page and the related Facebook group. Everything is working as needed.

My one issue is the fact that all entries in the Facebook group come with my personal profile picture. And the problem with this is the fact that I have lots of people contributing on my site, but it is like I am the only one getting the credit for all the posts.

How could I have it so instead of displaying my personal picture and the link to my personal profile for each post (from the website).. I would display the same business page that is also receiving the updates.

In other words, could I somehow change the profile making the posts within the group? Perhaps manually? The plugin is already great, if I can somehow achieve this.. it would be beyond words..

I look forward to hearing your input John..

    Thank you.

Rafael_Magnvs - honestly I'm not sure if what you're asking can be done.

In the Facebook Graph API, when one is posting to a group, the only way to do so is through the connection to a person.

    http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/group/

That is, WPBook doesn't pass anything to Facebook which identifies the "author" of the update, other than the (required) access_key, which Facebook knows comes from your profile ID.

I suppose you could create a fictional profile and use that profile as the "author" but doing so will violate Facebook TOS, as each profile is supposed to be a real person.

If you use Facebook as your business page, and post something in the group, does it look like it comes from the group, or from you?

    Hi John

It's posting on my profile, but not on the page. I checked permissions and it says
FB profile ************* has granted these permissions:

    offline_access - no
    read_stream - yes
    publish_stream - yes
    manage_pages - yes
An access token for this user has been stored.

You've indicated you wish to publish to this page: 6********0

An access token corresponding to this page has been stored.

@stylemynt - note where it says offline_access = no? I'd bet that is your problem.

See the other thread in these forums about Facebook Application Settings from the last few weeks - you need to make sure "Deprecate offline_access" is DISABLED in the advanced settings section of your Facebook app, then regenerate an access token.

Until offline_access = yes it will not work.
