@mykkal I think you want to edit lines 102-107 of includes/publish_to_facebook.php Basicly this is getting either the expert if you have one or the content of the post.

another solution may be to use a one line expert for your post.

    gotcha… use the excerpt 🙂

Hey Brooke… SO I was checking today and it seems that WPBOOK is ignoring the existence of the excerpt.

Most of the articles and all of our latest articles on HairWeGo have them. However WPBOOK is still grabbing text from the content instead of just the excerpt.

Can you guys help me fix this? This is the last major obstacle/hurdle for me to get over with WPBOOk.

    Anyone have an idea?

If I look at your latest post on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/HairWeGo/posts/10150162761431376 the content isn’t the same on your post at the parent site http://hairwegoproducts.com/celebrity-hair/are-gay-men-better-stylists-than-women/ So my question is where is that description on your Facebook wall coming from? My guess is maybe another plugin. You do have a lot of plugins rocken on your parent site do any of them add anything to the except?

That doesn’t make sense I think. If the plugin is supposed to pull from the excerpt first and then content in the absence of a plugin why would it pull from the content if the excerpt exists?

This isn’t related to another plugin. I’m quite sure of that.

BTW… the content is exactly the same. What are you seeing?
