I’ve just checked into SVN some fixes for those of you trying to post to Group pages or Application Profile pages.

How do you know? Look at the wall to which you are trying to post.

If its url is something like: https://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=149948248362737&v=wall&ref=ts it is a group.

If its url is something like: https://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=14544784262&v=wall it is an Application profile page.

If its url is something like: https://www.facebook.com/pages/WPBook/44062579871?ref=ts it is a Fan Page.

If you are trying to publish to an Application Profile page or a Group’s wall, please get the latest development build and try it out, and let me know what you’re seeing.

I’ve tested an application profile page and a group page, and successfully posted to both.

Note that posting to a group’s wall happens in your name, not in the group’s name.

Actually it isn’t a development build anymore, it’s 2.0.8, just released.

Thank you, I will try posting to the application page instead of fan page. It’s not reasonable to create fan page for personal blog so all I need is to getting post to the application itself.
