[Plugin: WPaudio MP3 Player] How to customize colors?

Hi. I really like your plugin, but for somereason can’t figure out how to change the colors. Do i change the hex values in this chunk of code?

$wpa_style_link_hover_color = '#FF0099';
$wpa_style_bar_base_bg = '#FF0099';
$wpa_style_bar_load_bg = '#FF0099';
$wpa_style_bar_position_bg = '#1f1f1f';

I have edited them above but none of the changes appear on my blog. The text color remains the basic blue. However rollover states are being effected by my theme’s CSS it seems.
