   thanks for mentioning that new feature in the changelog and making it optional.

   I do highly appreciate your free plugins but this is happening more often these days that new plugin versions sneak in links back to the author.

   Yep, since the authors normally can't support the plugins from 'appreciation' alone, so a link back to the author site is at least a way. I think that in 3 years this plugin existed, it netted about $15 in donations. Appreciation model simply does not work.

   true, and I fully agree, but I disagree with the way you introduced it without mentioning it anywhere.
