Another user reported the same thing. However I am unable to reproduce the problem.
I would need an admin account on your site to see what’s wrong (I need to be able to edit the plugin files). My email is scribu@gmail.com
Hi, Scribu,
I have exactly the same problem, I just see it…
Is there a solution found since these old comments ?
Thanks, anyway…
Try re-activating the plugin.
I try and no way : the curent date still appears, the curent hour too…
Same on the dashboard.
I dont’t understand : if it was a problem of code, everybody should have the same ; if it’s a problem of database, why have I the good number of most users ever on line, but not the good date ???
WordPress plugins mystery…
Exactly the same problem on my 2 sites. It’s always the current date/time showing up
You will have to uninstall the plugin (delete from the WP admin) and then reinstall it.
I did it, but the problem persists…

I had this problem on my site. I fixed it by doing 3 things:
1. Deactivated and deleted the plugin.
2. Used phpMyAdmin to edit the database:
a. Dropped ‘wp_useronline’ table.
b. Deleted all rows in ‘wp_options’ containing ‘useronline’ in the option_name.
3. Reinstalled the plugin.
All is well now, but, of course, the data has been lost.
Hi,
I have gotten round to comparing 2 wordpress sites.
In the wp_options I have the following:
This website is ok:
(5209, 0, ‘useronline_most’, ‘a:2:{s:5:”count”;i:3;s:4:”date”;d:1285969325;}’, ‘yes’),
This website is wrong:
(11573, 0, ‘useronline_most’, ‘a:2:{s:5:”count”;s:2:”40″;s:4:”date”;b:0;}’, ‘yes’);
I can see they are different , but how can I correct the second one?
I deleted the offending line in my database to fix it.
