[Plugin: WP Update Message] Update Message date format

Could you share any settings that can be used to update the format of the date.

For example, %ud% currently displays January 23, 2012 as “23/01/12” but I’d like to shift this to 01/23/2012.

Tried a couple variations of WordPress date strings without success….
