This is probably specific to my theme, but you might want to see if it’s a problem with your approach and something you might want to consider fixing so that it doesn’t happen in other themes.

Have a look at the frontpage on http://zona.ro
The featured articles in the middle of the first row, the ones with the big illustrations, are showing a small summary of the article. The summary is created automatically from the text, it doesn’t use the excerpt or anything like that, and unfortunatelly it shows the “tweet” word as part of the text, without the formating that makes it a button and active.

Sincerely, I would prefer to not have the button show up in that summary at all.
If you can tell me where to look I am of course willing to fix the theme I am using, as it’s probably a problem with the order of calling the various functions, but I am no expert in either themes or plugins, so any help is appreciated.

And I voted “works” for 3.1, by the way, good work!

Wrong section for the posts and yes I’ve noticed the same issue with several social plugins recently that are adding words to META descriptions, disturbing sharing. Hopefully its resolved soon with Sharebar.

This plugin already has the option to remove it. The setting is called “Tweet link text” 🙂
