    Hello!

Thank you for the plugin. If I can get it working I'll be very excited.

I have a few issues. The first is it won't display any statistics (seeds or leechers). Next the "scrape" page says "invalid info hash" and the "announce" page simply replies "no". Also, I have the "error: you must be an uploader" issue (but I haven't yet looked into that one).

    The website is:

I'm about to tear my hair out. I will gladly donate once I get it running!

To resolve the uploader error you have to change settings to:

For the others i don't know... I have the same issues.
and also "Tracker sending invalid data <NULL>" in utorent when i upload a torrent

OMFG. I looked through that menu five hundred times and didn't see that.

I'll see if I can raise him on skype. I'm about to have to commission someone to fix the remaining issues, if he can provide a fix I'd rather donate to the developer.

Thanks for the assistance. Apparently these are common problems... I guess that's a good thing. I'm desperate for a fix, I want to release next week.

I haven't seen the tracker issue but I've only uploaded public torrents so far to test. I'd suppose it's likely these issues are connected, if the tracker's sending invalid data that would explain why seeders and leechers aren't displaying.

I think we're on our way. I'm chatting with him currently, he's very willing to help. I'll let you know any suggestions or solutions we come up with.

Getting the "null" issue as well, thanks for mentioning that. Are you using shared hosting?

He's looking into it now still I think. I'll pass that along. I believe the theory is some shared hosts block certain requests. Please post anything you can about the environment you're running so we can compare the similarities, it may help narrow things down.

I passed the information along to him. Not sure what to report with. He said he's seen the issue before and it's a matter of the announce being touchy. He left a message today saying he may have figured it out, I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything.

If we can't get it working I'm thinking about just swapping over to an older version of the extension to see if that will work. Starting to get antsy, it's the only thing that needs to be finished on the site.

Long story short, I don't think it's happening man.

Something to do with shared hosting I guess. He thought he had a fix but it apparently was something else. What's worse is there really isn't an alternative, especially anything likely to work if it's a host issue.

Supposedly godaddy works with this plugin, that's the route I'm going to go. We're confirming which plan he's on and we'll go from there. If I get it working for less than $10/mo I'll let you know.

    Sorry for the bad news.

just an update on this post we did finally get things sorted in the last release for the host. he did have to contact his host though and ask them to disable a php setting which they did but also there was a few problems in the code which needed sorting. hopefully after he does some more test he will be able to let people know of any other problems he may be running into. also i cannot guarantee that this plugin will work on every host or setup because what works for one person may not work for the other and the best thing is to have a vps or dedicated server so you are not limited to what the host decides is the best settings.
