[Plugin: WP to Twitter] error posting status (bit.ly)

    Hi there,

    There’s been an error posting your Twitter status! Visit your WP to Twitter settings page to get more information and to clear this error message.

    Im only using the bit.ly service.

    The user and api key is ok but the plugin still giving me the error. It never shorts the url 🙁

    The error began when I updated to the new version 2.0.0. Now im usin the last release 2.0.1

    What happens if you do a test of the plugin (bottom of the settings page.) Does the plugin successfully create a short URL then?

    I got an error

    WP to Twitter was unable to contact your selected URL shortening service.

    WP to Twitter successfully submitted a status update to your primary update service.

    Your server should run WP to Twitter successfully.

    I checked, twice, the id + api key of bit.ly and it’s correct.

    Could you test with your bit.ly account?

    It does work fine for me, but I’ll review the code anyhow; there may be something strange.

    I just created an other bit.ly account to check if it was an account problem.

    Nothing it still giving me the error.
