   I just updated this plug in to version 2.2.11, and it seems that everytime someone comments - even if the comment is recognised as spam - a tweet is sent out saying the post has been edited. I don't have this option turned on in my options, so not sure why its being sent.

   I'm getting the same error as well, only appeared after updating the plugin this morning.

   We have this too even though we have never used the 'send tweet when edited' option.

   Same here. I have the box unchecked (never had it checked), but anytime someone posts a comment, even if it's spam, a tweet goes out.

   Same problem here ! Keep firing twitter notification when someone leaves a comment !!!!

   Update to 2.2.12 will fix this problem. Very sorry -- it was an error on my part.
