[Plugin: WP-Table Reloaded] Upload multiple tables at once

    Hi,

    Thank you for providing such a great plugin!

    I would like to be able to upload multiple tables at once. I have over 50 tables to update frequently and I would like to know if there is an extension of the upload page that supports multiple file uploads relative to tables.

    Can you please help me with that?

    I have made a research prior to this post and have noticed that many people are looking for such features.

    Hi,

    thanks for you post.

    Unfortunately, adding upload for multiple tables at once (“bulk upload”) is not possible in WP-Table Reloaded due to the internal structure.
    However, the official and designated successor of WP-Table Reloaded, called TablePress and available at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tablepress/ if you want to try it already, will come with such bulk upload for tables (e.g. multiple CSV files in a ZIP archive). Currently, this only allows to add new tables though, I’m still working on making it possible for this feature to also replace existing tables. This is not that easy, as the ID of the table that shall be replaced probably will have to come from the file name, which is not really reliable…
