I link to a page from an image I've placed in a cell, however, it appears that since the cell expands several rows, my link only appears at the top area of my image. Here's a link to my page so you can see, it's the first table (black & white....)

I have checked your page in Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Firefox, but was not able to reproduce this. In the "Black & White" table, I can click on the entire image and it works as a link nicely everywhere, not just the top part.
Even if it did, I don't think that this comes from the rowspan. Very likely it is a result of the HTML markup of your theme.
Can you maybe try again in the WordPress Default theme?
