Before I discover WP-Table Reloaded, my method of inserting tables was none other than the good old html code. An example from one of the article:

Recently, I noticed Google was able to identify the table and displayed 2 rows and 3 columns of the content of the table in the search results as shown in the Google results below:

Google was not able to digest the newer tables created by WP-Table Reloaded plugin.

Maybe it has something to do with the javascript? or the <table> tag or something. Would be great if the author make this plguin Google SEO friendly.

thanks for your question.

To be honest, I don’t really think that the reason for this is WP-Table Reloaded. The plugin just adds HTML code to the page after all, which is very similar to the HTML in your first example. Also, the JavaScript should not have an influence on this, as Google doesn’t evaluate that.
Thus, making the plugin more “Google SEO friendly” is not really possible, as there’s nothing really that can be changed. Also, I don’t know what Google expects from tables so that they are shown in the search results. If you have more information about this, please let us know.
